The fine print
terms & conditions
Last updated June 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Ikebana Miami website and your purchase of our flowers, subscriptions, workshops, and services. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these terms.
about our work
Every Ikebana Miami arrangement is handmade with fresh, seasonal, and often exotic flowers. Because nature varies, exact stems, colors, and vessels may differ from photographs. We always honor the overall style, palette, and value of what you order, and may substitute flowers of equal or greater quality when something isn’t available.
orders & pricing
Prices are listed on our website and may change at any time. We do our best to keep product descriptions, availability, and pricing accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an error affecting your order, we’ll contact you to confirm or cancel before charging you. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
payment
Payment is due at the time of purchase and is processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). By providing payment details, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes and delivery fees unless stated otherwise.
subscriptions
Flower subscriptions renew automatically on the schedule you choose (for example weekly, biweekly, or monthly) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for each recurring delivery.
- —You may pause or cancel future deliveries by contacting us before the next billing date for that cycle.
- —Cancellations take effect for upcoming deliveries; charges already processed for a delivery in progress are non-refundable.
- —If a payment fails, we may pause your subscription until payment details are updated.
delivery & pickup
We offer delivery and pickup within our Miami service area. Please provide a complete, accurate address and ensure someone is available to receive perishable flowers. We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by incorrect addresses, an unavailable recipient, or circumstances outside our control. Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees.
cancellations & refunds
Because flowers are perishable and arrangements are made to order, all sales are generally final. That said, we stand behind our work:
- —If your flowers arrive damaged or are not as described, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and we will make it right with a replacement or appropriate remedy.
- —Order changes or cancellations may be possible if requested well before your scheduled preparation or delivery date — reach out as early as you can.
- —Custom, event, and wedding work is governed by the deposit and cancellation terms in your individual quote or agreement.
workshops
Workshop spots are limited and confirmed upon payment. Unless stated otherwise on the workshop listing, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person or applied to a future workshop if you notify us in advance. If we cancel a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or a spot in a future session.
events & custom work
Weddings, events, and bespoke arrangements are quoted individually. These projects typically require a deposit to reserve your date, with the balance due before the event. Specific timelines, deposits, and cancellation terms will be set out in your proposal or agreement, which governs in case of any conflict with these general terms.
intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, photography, designs, and the Ikebana Miami name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission. We may photograph our arrangements and events and use those images to promote our work.
your submissions
When you submit information through our site, you agree it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Please do not submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. We may remove content or decline orders at our discretion.
disclaimers & limitation of liability
Our website and products are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ikebana Miami is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of our site or services means you accept the updated terms.
